(August 26, 2022) Emerging Toronto Indie/Future Soul artist, Tasha Angela is back with her funk-infused floor filler, “Space and Time, ” her biggest track to date. Complete with uptempo, feel-good elements as the emerging Future Soul artist and pianists dreamy vocal takes centre stage.

Speaking on the track, the Honey Jam alumni and Public Records signee explain, “‘Space and Time”’ is one of my favourite songs I’ve ever made so far! It’s a positive song that always puts me in a good mood and was made with the intention to manifest love, good energy and happiness into my life and the lives of others who listen. I’m realizing more and more how our mind is powerful and the more we feed it with positivity, the more we bring that energy into our daily experiences”.
Tasha was introduced to the piano by her aunt as a child. Piano being her first instrument taught her discipline and of course musicality. As she grew up, she started to learn and build confidence in other veins of music including dancing, writing and composing. This lead her to entering renowned singing/music organization, Honey Jam in Toronto. There, Tasha developed a sense of confidence and what it would be like to be an artist. She continued to work and do music until she finally hit a major breakthrough. She sang one of her original songs she had been writing on her Instagram and it got recognized by fellow Toronto artist Jessie Reyez and her team. She was then invited to a workshop Jessie organized and there she had the opportunity to work with other artists, network and meet her manager Gavin Shepard, which ultimately led to her acclaimed debut EP Hidden Gems. Tasha is an artist to watch.
With support to date including tastemakers HIP HOP CANADA, TORONTO GUARDIAN, and CLASH, amassing incredible numbers across streaming platforms (3M+ streams on Spotify, 538.5K streams on Apple Music, 235K views on YouTube) and not to mention her debut music video earning a spot on acclaimed platform Colors, it’s no surprise that this unmissable talent has been hailed one to watch after being accredited on Live Nation’s platform. As far as setting her sights far goes, this is just the beginning.
